Are straplines the ultimate elevator pitch?
As part of the branding process, we’re often asked to develop a strapline alongside the visual identity. It’s an interesting challenge: how do you distil a brand’s raison d’être rationale into just a few words?
You could argue that a good strapline is the ultimate elevator pitch… a single thought that captures the essence of a brand and gives people a reason to remember it.
We thought we’d share six examples where we’ve developed both the brand identity and strapline for companies operating in quite specific markets, speaking to very particular audiences.

FYI – Shortbread provides boutique student accommodation, TicketyBoo is a smart train ticketing app, Tiger Fibre a wholesale broadband provider, Norden’s an accountancy firm, Hammock a digital designer of transport systems and IML an infrastructure management company.
